Chutney Manansala was crowned Rising Star of Karaoke 2005 Aug 31. at Boomers in Cathedral City. Manansala earned $500, a chance to record a demo CD and spots on the CBS 2’s local entertainment show, Eye On The Desert,” and Mix 100.5’s morning show with Michael Storm. Musical Affair Entertainment, Have a Dream Records and Musicians Outlet sponsored the event open to youths ages 18 and under.
